I love to decorate for the holidays. All of them! But, of course it’s not in my budget to buy decorations for every holiday. So, I like to make my own! It’s so fun and easy too. I made a cute little sign to hang on my wall. Today I will show you how I did it!
This little notebook is made with index cards. Wanting something that was more flexible than a standard notebook and not too big they were the perfect solution. Add in some specially made tabs and it became exactly what was needed.
Recently, The Hybrid Chick held a Baby Shower and I made a treasure/keepsake tin for a newborn baby. I thought I’d add some index cards inside the tin for the proud parents to record precious memories of their baby. Whether it be to document those special moments at birth, or when baby first smiles or laughs or even to record some information about the keepsakes or treasures that will be going into this precious tin.

Today’s project for our celebration of all things baby is a handy box to keep in the trunk of your car for those “uh-oh” moments… like when you notice that the 25 lb. weight limit on your baby’s diaper has been exceeded by 5 lbs, but you forgot to bring your diaper bag; or when you’re out running errands and baby is all of a sudden in need of a change of clothes!
