Grandparents Day in the US is this coming Sunday. To help celebrate, I’m going to share a quick and easy brag book you can make. This one is so mini, it can fit inside a purse or pocket. Which makes it an easy take-along brag book for any proud grandparent!
Dress forms are all the rage in the crafting world right now. You see them in patterns, paper designs, accents, chipboard, and of course still in sewing motifs. I’m going to show you how you can create a beautiful personalized 3-dimensional dress form for your home or to give as a gift to a very lucky person.
It’s June…are you ready for your kids to be home all summer?? I’m not sure I am, but I have been thinking about what I would like to do with them this summer to keep them reading, writing and learning.
Are you looking for a quick and easy way to add a little extra something to your next hybrid project? Come along with me today as I show you one of my favorite techniques for adding dimension to elements!
I decided to make a very unique little personalised gift for a friend who is having her baby daughter baptised. Come and check out what I made – I’m not sure what you would call it, but it’s the baby’s name spelled out and it can be stood upon a shelf in her bedroom.
Recently, The Hybrid Chick held a Baby Shower and I made a treasure/keepsake tin for a newborn baby. I thought I’d add some index cards inside the tin for the proud parents to record precious memories of their baby. Whether it be to document those special moments at birth, or when baby first smiles or laughs or even to record some information about the keepsakes or treasures that will be going into this precious tin.
Today’s project for our celebration of all things baby is a handy box to keep in the trunk of your car for those “uh-oh” moments… like when you notice that the 25 lb. weight limit on your baby’s diaper has been exceeded by 5 lbs, but you forgot to bring your diaper bag; or when you’re out running errands and baby is all of a sudden in need of a change of clothes! I started keeping extras of all the essentials in the back of my van. As I was browsing Michaels the other day and came across these boxes for storing your photos, I thought they would make a cute and original gift for any mother-to-be.
Today’s post is looking at how I made up a collage canvas using all sorts of bits and pieces from my traditional scrapbooking goodies along with a touch of digi too!
