Recording memories of your little ones

Recently, The Hybrid Chick held a Baby Shower and I made a treasure/keepsake tin for a newborn baby. I thought I’d add some index cards inside the tin for the proud parents to record precious memories of their baby. Whether it be to document those special moments at birth, or when baby first smiles or laughs or even to record some information about the keepsakes or treasures that will be going into this precious tin.

The “Uh-Oh” Box

Today’s project for our celebration of all things baby is a handy box to keep in the trunk of your car for those “uh-oh” moments… like when you notice that the 25 lb. weight limit on your baby’s diaper has been exceeded by 5 lbs, but you forgot to bring your diaper bag; or when you’re out running errands and baby is all of a sudden in need of a change of clothes! I started keeping extras of all the essentials in the back of my van. As I was browsing Michaels the other day and came across these boxes for storing your photos, I thought they would make a cute and original gift for any mother-to-be.
