Created especially for you—and to celebrate one of our favorite holidays, National Scrapbooking Day—here is a free pack of digital papers that you can use to play around with and try out on your own hybrid projects:

paper_daisies

You can download the papers here: Paper Daisies

Included in this pack are 12 digital papers (6 with patterns and 6 that are plain) that were created at 300 dpi and will print at a full size of 12 x 12. They come all “zipped” up in a .zip file. Simply right-click on this folder and choose something like “Extract Here” or “Extract All” to unpack these files (or simply double click in Windows Vista). They will then unzip into a new folder for you, all nice and neat!

If you have a photo editing software, like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, it should be easy for you to open these papers in your program and play around with them (they are .jpg files, just like a digital photo is, so your software will know what to do with them).

If you don’t have any photo editing software (or if you are primarily a cardmaker and like smaller patterns), I’ve also created a pack of papers that have already been resized to 6 x 6 for you. You should be able to right-click on one of these files and select “Print” from the menu to send them to your printer. Then you can cut them up and use them as you please! You can download the smaller sized papers here: Paper Daisies: 6 x 6

And if you still feel like a newbie and have a few questions, be sure to check out Kelleigh’s awesome article about Where to Start. She’s got some great tips and pointers to help you figure out just what you’ll need to get up and running in the world of hybrid papercrafting! And if you ever have a question, just feel free to stop by our Forums and ask our group of friendly hybrid chickies! We’re always happy to help.

I hope you enjoy playing around with these papers! Please feel free to stop by our Gallery and share your work with us. We’d love to see what you’ve made!

Happy creating!
