I liked the rounder half of the plastic Easter eggs. But, the pointy half would work well, too.

Punch holes on both sides.

Put floral wire through. It can be colored with a permanent makers of your choice.

Twist the wires to secure it to the egg. Leave about 1″ of wire on both sides.

Punch a hole on the flower.

Put the flower through the wire end.

Tie the knot any way you like it.

Wrinkle the flower.

Extra flowers can be made almost the same way. Put the wire through one side.

Twist it to make the knot.

Secure knot the other side as with the knot.

Wrap around one flower to the other.

Wrap the extra flowers around the wire on the Easter egg.

Secure it.

Decorate the inside. Cute, huh! My 5 year old boy told me I did a very good job making this. I think he said that because I told him he could eat the jelly beans if he poses for me. =)

Twist the wires in the center.

Hang it on a long wire or thread to create a banner.

This is a great way to decorate for a party.

Little flameless tea lights will fit inside.

Easy and inexpensive way to create and decorate! I’m sure a lot of you will have many many plastic eggs after Easter Sunda. Why not make something beautiful with them? You can even make some paper cupcakes, too!

Since this was my first attempt at making a gazebo, you’ll see lots of imperfections in my process. Though it was not hard to make, it took me a long time and a lot of patience. But, I really love how it turned out. I plan on making more in the future. You should try it, too. This is the first project that looks better in person than in photos. =) This will be perfect for a wedding, a birthday party decoration or a gift!

I wanted to place two creatures in love inside the gazebo and I found the perfect couple. The birds, papers, and the border trim under the roof are from A Little Bit of Love Designer Kit by Danielle Engebretson.

Print out for the gazebo:
- Two Large Lids (Red for top roof, white for inside trim);
- One Large Bottom (Cream);
- Two Large Lid, reduced to 30% (red, light green);
- One pair of birds, printed twice for front and back (Note: I ended up using the bigger size birds)

Flip the Large Bottom, draw the lines to make the fence. Don’t forget to cut the bottom part of the tabs, so it won’t show through the cut out fence. You need the top tabs for the pillars.

Put the adhesive on the bottom tabs (Right side up).

Glue the tab and the fence together.

Use 4″ lollipop sticks for the pillars. Mark one end of the stick at 0.5″. This will give some space under the gazebo so that it is off the ground.

Put some glue on the top tabs.

Quickly wrap the tab around the lollipop stick, align the bottom.

Oops! I forgot to erase the pencil marks before assembling.

Place the love birds inside.

Using the pink waxy floss to wrap around the top part the pillar. This will hold the roof. Doesn’t it look like vine?

Put a hole in the middle of all the roof pieces (Lid Templates).
NOTE: For the basic instruction for the Perfect Pumpkin Templates, check Kelleigh’s apple box tutorial..

Attach the border trim to the bottom of the inside roof. You can also use ribbons.

Punch holes where the tabs meet for the lollipop stick pillars.

For the smaller top roof, I added some 3-d adhesive tapes on the inside lid to raise the height.

Put it through a lollipop stick. Isn’t this cute! I shortened this lollipop stick for the roof center.

Put all the roof pieces together. Decorate.

Put the pillars together. Add glue to secure.

Wait a minute! Where is the entrance?

That’s better. =)

Wrap the thread around the pillars on the bottom to hide the red pencil mark and also to create the flower beds.

Add glue to hold it together.

Dab some clear glue and add flowers.

Hmmm… I don’t like how the paper is sticking out from the middle section of the pillars. Snip it out with scissors.

Much better.

Digital papers: Share the Moments Designer Kit by Danielle Engebretson
Ribbons: Thin flat ribbons like binding tape, or Taffeta ribbon recommended
Others: Magnet snaps, thread and needle, sticky double sided tape or glue.

For the paper clutch, I printed two of the envelope templates on both sides of the paper, one for front flap & back body, and the other one for the front body. I cut out some flaps and added extra score lines to make into a clutch. If you want, you could enlarge the templates a bit to make it bigger than the envelopes that will go inside.

Coat with a glossy glue/sealer like Mod Podge to make it sturdier.

Add the double sided tape on the bottom flap (front body piece) to the other piece. Don’t forget to score the extra folds to create the spines.

Ok, let’s move onto assembling the envelopes which go inside the clutch. Kelleigh wrote a great tutorial on this.

Here I’m going to show you how I bound the envelopes together.

First work on the inside of the envelope by making holes on the bottom part. It’s easier to do this step BEFORE you glue the envelopes together.

Spacing size will be different depending on the width of the ribbon you are using. I used 1/2″, so I spaced the holes out by 1/2″.

Thread the needle from the second hole from the side. It does not matter which side you start from, just make sure to go in through the second hole.

Come out from the first hole. And, go back in the third hole. Come out from the second hole. Go back in the fourth hole. Repeat this pattern to the end.

I taped the thread ends to secure it.

Line all the envelopes together and insert the ribbons through. I did it every other slot.

Put the double sided tape on both sides of the clutch to attach the ribbons. Trim the excess.

Hide the ribbons with the extra paper (inside overlay cut it in half).

It’s pretty securely attached. You can also use this binding technique to make albums or books.

Add the magnetic snaps.

You can also add the magnetic snaps on each of the envelopes.

Inside the back, I kept the side flaps and made a pocket.

Punch holes on both side of the side flaps, decorate with eyelets, and tie it with the ribbons.

For the flower embellishment outside of the clutch, I used a 2″ scallop circle punch. Spiral cut the flower. You can find a more detailed tutorial on my blog.

Start from the outside, roll the paper.

Flatten it down.

Puff it up a bit. Add a brad or a button in the center to decorate it. Then attach it on the clutch.

Assorted ribbon pieces, beads and baubles and trims.

For the body, I used both box and the wrap from Kelleigh’s Matchbox Template (Large). And only the wrap for the roof. Score in the middle for the top of the roof. Cut away the both ends if you want your roof to be shorter. 

Using a pencil, draw lines for the window inside the wrap. Cut it with a knife.

I have used Date Me stamp from Purple Onion Designs to stamp on 4 x 2.5″ (wee bit smaller) cardstock. You can also print it with digital alphas using bottom of box layer from the Matchbox Template.

For roof tiles, I used Stampin’ Up! Scallop Edge punch to cut out strips of papers, alternating the wave, I attached to the roof base. Cut the excess off the side.

I punched a hole in the center of the roof and put ribbons through to make it into an ornament.

Decorate the house however you like.

You can easily change the date by sliding the box from the side.

Stamps used: Gingerbread Man, Bubble-ma-jig, and Date Me from Purple Onion Designs.

You can even stuff some candies inside the box!

Once again, I’m using Kelleigh’s Perfect Pumpkin Template to create the pumpkin pie. How perfect! I wanted to make a tiny, cutie pie, so I used the small template after reducing it to 50%.

Pie filling: Small bottom piece. Cut away the outer/bottom flaps (see the red line on the photo?)
Crust: Small lid. Fan it out to make the brim like I did on yesterday’s Pumpkin baskets tutorial.
Pan: Small lid.

Cut away the side tabs of the outer flap. Using a round pen or a stylus pen, and curl the paper. To make the tight curl, I first used the wider pen to roll to loosen up the cardstock paper, then used a needle to wrap the paper around to make the curl.

After gluing the tabs, poke the center in so the pan will sit flat on a surface.

I coated the pie filling with a gloss paint to make it look juicy.

Here’s a turkey pot pie.

This time I used the lid for all three pieces to make the pie filling puff up. Cut away the flaps on the red line.

You can even store candies inside. The perfect storage!

Kelleigh wrote an awesome tutorial here on the HybridChick on how to make a paper apple box with the Perfect Pumpkin Template. That post gives the basic template assembly instructions so check it if you need help with that part of the project.

Since I like things in petite size, I used the small template from the Perfect Pumpkin Template.

Using digital papers and flowers from Heart of Thankfulness by Sugarplum Paperie, I printed on double sided printer paper.

When I use Kelleigh’s templates that have some curve, I like to use a round pen or a stylus pen to make the paper curl. You hold one side of the paper with one hand, and with the other one, you stretch the paper with the pen and it’ll give you a nice smooth curve.

Glue just a little corner of the tab and attach to the other tab. Fan the tabs out as much as you like to create the brim.

Since I’m using the lid piece to create the bottom layer, I poke the center of the lid in so it’ll sit flat on a surface. I learned this technique from Kelleigh’s apple box tutorial.  Then attach the glue inside, and put the bottom piece on top.

Add the strings/ribbons on the side, decorate, and you have a beautiful basket!

Here I used the digital kit from Cazbah by ViVa Artistry. This time I made both lid and the bottom pieces to fan out to create the brim and stacked on top of each other. You can mix the lid and the bottom pieces to create different looks. 

I punched a hole in the center and put a wire through to create the handle.

This one was made just using the bottom piece and it still makes the perfect basket!

Digital kit: Autumn Silence by JM Designs JM Designs.

My poor boy’s head is stuck between the glue boxes! I used a clear liquid glue to attach him to the ladder. I had to secure him while the glue was drying.

As you can see, there are endless possibilities with these little templates. I hope these projects inspire you to find your own way to use them to create The Perfect Baskets for yourself! Thanks for visiting!

All of the lollipop holders were created using the Pyramid Box Template Set by Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs.

First, I printed out the templates and embellishments. Kelleigh designs her templates, so you can easily add digital papers in Photoshop. Notice the white square? Since it’s the bottom portion of the pyramid, I kept it white to save on printer ink.

Then simply score and cut!

Punch the hole on top of the pyramid for the lollipop sticks.

This is what I came up with!

A Vampire and a Witch Pyramid Lollipop stands.

A Catwoman Pyramid. For the tail, I bent the lollipop stick and colored it black with a permanent marker, then attached a tiny pom pom at the end.

The Dark Knight Pyramid.

Spider Man Pyramid. The spider web is from the Toil and Trouble Kit, and I re-colored it in Photoshop.

Invisible Man Pyramid. Doesn’t it look like the Louvre Museum?

To create the clear pyramid box, I printed out the template on a paper, then taped the clear sheet on top, scored and cut!

Eeeek! Hellraiser Pyramid! Creepy! Poor stickless Dum-Dums.

How about a Ghost Pyramid?

The Pink Pyramid since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I attached the wand with a brad on the pyramid.

Hello everybody~!!! My name is Sunghee and I am super excited to be here. I feel out of this world!  I’m going to show you how to make my version of the robot favor boxes.  I made a few different colors and themes to show you all the different possibilities for these cute little projects!  Don’t mind the scary looking little guy on the blue one…that’s just my Kyle, but he does look a bit scary!

For the first version of the box, I used the Space Dog Full Kit digital kit by TK Whimsy and the Top Heavy Box template by Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs along with some glue, brads and basic cutting tools.

First, I printed out all the pieces on a sheet of paper.  The arms are made from the comet from the kit.  I flipped the image vertically to create the inside and outside of an arm.

Next, I cut out all the pieces and got them ready to go.  Just a little glue on one side of the arm…

Use a lamp or a lightbox to position, and attach it together.

Punch the hole on the side of the box, attach a brad and use that to attach your double-sided arms to each side of the box.

The perfect favor box for candies. Sweet!

For the next version, I printed the Top Heavy Box Template on cardstock papers. The screwdriver and wrench templates are Daddy’s Tools Blog Freebie from Kelleigh Ratzlaff.

Using some basic metal fasteners, I attached the wrench and screwdriver along with some other goodies.

A geeky robot.

Oh cool! An earring!

For my last little robot, I went with a boxer, complete with DumDum suckers for arms!  Isn’t it adorable?  Same template, same cardstock, just reversed.

Eyes are Basicgrey’s Magnetic Snaps. Self-adhesive ribbon from KI Memories.

As you can see, there are no limits for adding character to these robots.  You can add any embellishments to create almost any theme you can think of!
