This is my interpretation of some cute bunny purses I have seen in blog land. It is a super easy and sweet way to give Easter treats. I used a whole bunch of different punches for this project but it can be easily done by hand cutting your own shapes.
- PUNCHES OR A GOOD PAIR OF SHARP SCISSORS
- PINK INK, SPONGE
- PINK, CREAM CARD STOCK
Begin by cutting out the purse either by hand or electronic cutter. Assemble the purse. Punch your shapes for the bunny’s features.
This is a picture of the various punches (and one oval die) that I used for the bunny. You can see the sizes of the circles that were used but these can be adjusted based on the size of punches you may have on hand.
Assemble the feet as shown and adhere to the bottom edge of the purse. Notice that I added a bit of pink ink to the edges of the purse and to the edges of the feet. I did this for all of the bunny parts.
Next up is the nose which is a heart shape layered over two, overlapping circles.
I then added the eyes and ears. I decided I wanted a floppy eared bunny but you can easily make them stand up right.
Isn’t he sweet?
Thanks so much for visiting The Hybrid Chick and have a hoppy day!
