This glass top table sits near the front door entry of my home. I have always wanted to complete my Christmas tablescape with a framed wordart. I was inspired when I found these beautiful silver and beveled glass frames at my favorite local dollar store! (I often visit there searching for inspiration!)
PROJECT SUPPLIES: Digital Supplies
Sweet Digi Scraps MISTLETOE (paper and elements)
Sweet Digi Scraps FIND YOURSELF: THE PERFORMER (music score paper, slightly re-colored)
Digital Designs by Amber Morrison FA-LA-LA-LA (template for border cluster)
Kimeric Kreations A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS (glitter to stroke alpha made with Times New Roman font)
- silver and beveled glass frames (found at local dollar store)
- silver snowflake and bead
- red crochet thread (to hang snowflake and bead)
The border cluster had been made previously in a layout that I created using Sweet Digi Scraps MISTLETOE and Digital Designs by Amber Morrison FA-LA-LA-LA template pack. I cropped the cluster from the original layout, rearranged a little, and reduced the size of the border so that it would fit the width of the new canvas.
The background was created with papers from Sweet Digi Scraps MISTLETOE and FIND YOURSELF: THE PERFORMER (I really wanted the music score background).
The Alpha was created by me using the font Times New Roman (I like the formality of it) and paper from Sweet Digi Scraps MISTLETOE and Kimeric Kreations A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS glitter. (I thought it needed a little bling to balance the silver deer in the cluster, and the silver frame)
After the canvases were completed, I had them printed at my favorite local photo printer, slipped them into the gorgeous silver and beveled glass frames and added the charm dangles. Now they are proudly standing on my entry table along with my other favorite decorations for that table (a silver tree, and part of my angel collection!)
And now, I’m thinking of other wordart posibilities for my tablescape for additional holidays! I am inspired and I hope you are too!
