Welcome to the first Card Caravan of December. Hi, it’s Cathy here as your host this time. As we get ready for this month filled with Holidays, I’ve chosen “Holiday” as the theme for this Card Caravan. Now. we do call this a Card Caravan, but we love to see any hybrid or paper craft project, be it cards, tags, boxes, etc. You’ve just got to follow the theme. We would really love to see you go hybrid and use some products from The Digichick (although that is not required to join in).
Thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun of the last Card Caravan.
Before we look at the wonderful stuff designed by our creative team, lets’ celebrate Melissa’s top 3 pick from the last Card Caravan. They are (in no particular order):
Now let’s get you into the holiday spirit with these beautiful creations by our team:
Kristina created a few cards for you. This first one reminds us that there is no peeking as we anticipate the arrival of Santa. She used the Wish List Letter to Santa Bundle by Etc by Danyale.
Kristina also created this adorable card using paper from the Sugar Sands Christmas Beach Bundle by Etc by Danyale, the sentiment is from Christmas Foliage Digital Stamp Set by Paper Garden Projects, the cute racoon is from Loving Critters Digital Stamp Set by Paper Garden Projects, and the Poinsettia is made from Christmas Foliage Digital Stamp Set by Paper Garden Projects
This next card is also from Kristina. She accomplished the fun whimsical look of this card using Snow Flurry Cut Outs by Paper Garden Projects, Tis the Season by Wishing Well Creations, The Merriest by Elise’s Pieces.
This sweet card was made by Jen. She used the Waiting for Santa Bundle by Wishing Well Creations. Isn’t it great how you can combine the digital papers and elements with stamps, markers and other items from your traditional crafting stash?
LuAnn created some gift bags using simple brown paper bags and tags from the Christmas Tags Elements Pack by Quirky Twerp. LuAnn used some bakers twine to attach them and punched the edges of the bags. A quick way to create some really beautiful gift wrapping for the holidays!
Melissa created her holiday card using Wishing Well Creation’s Jingle Bell Rock Mini Kit
My card was made using Retrospect Christmas Scrapbook Kit by Quirky Twerp. I created a 3D tree on the front of the card. All of the papers and word art are from the kit. I just cut them in the shapes for the card, added a star, ribbon and ink!
