Card Caravan Challenge #24

Hi there! Nice to see you again! and to those of you just joining in on one of our challenges here at The Hybrid Chick… Welcome! Before we announce the next challenge, I just wanted to take a few minutes and update you about what’s going on with The Hybrid Chick.

You may have noticed here on the site that images are missing from our previous tutorials. This past week, our server host (for both The Digichick and The Hybrid Chick) had a fatal error on their end, and due to a corrupted back-up, they were not able to restore us to our previous state. We’re working hard on restoring the images (as quick as we can) and also double checking links to products used in each post.

Card Caravan #23 (Indah’s summer themed challenge) was lost during this crash also so there are no Favorite Peeps to announce from the previous challenge.

But we’re back and moving forward! So, let’s check out our newest challenge!

Challenge #24 is all about paper piecing. If you are unfamiliar with paper piecing, paper piecing involves cutting pieces out from a design and layering them on paper. They can be layered over a stamped outline of the same image or simply layered over top of the same image using pop dots or other dimensional adhesives.
