April Card Template Challenge

April 5, 2012 | Filed under: Challenges, Inspiration and tagged with: Amanda Heimann, card template challenge, cards, Do it Yourself, Forever Joy, Paperpack, sketch

Welcome to a new Card Template Challenge here at The Hybrid Chick. This time it is my turn ( Ria)  to host this PARTY. So I hope you all can join in on the fun.

Each month, a new card template will be posted at the Digichick challenge forum and here on The Hybrid Chick. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to create a card using the template provided. As with any template, we want you to be inspired so feel free to improvise on the template a little to your liking.

For those of you who keep saying “I don’t do Hybrid” or “I can’t do Hybrid”, I say give the card template a try. Think of it as a mini layout – simply add your papers, elements and a few shadows. print, cut and fold. There you go… a digital card.

Next time, try cutting out one or more “parts” of the card and using some glue dots or 3D foam to adhere it to your card for real dimension. Maybe tie some ribbon around your card. And guess what? You’ve just created your first Hybrid project!

Ready? Here’s this month’s sketch.

Click here to download the template.

I made this card as a digital file so if I CAN DO DIGITAL you all can do HYBRID :) as I am a real paper, scissors, stamp girl. For this card I used The little girl blue set by Amanda Heimann

And here is my Hybrid card and for this card I used True blue set by Forever Joy.

We hope you are inspired and come play with us.

Hugs Ria

Wow, this was so much fun! I loved using the PSD. I was really inspired by the DT examples too. Thanks so much, this is definitely going to be a monthly challenge for me.
