Welcome Little One gift

When I saw the milk carton cutting file in the shop, I knew I had to play with it as we are waiting for the announcements of some little ones. So, it is time to prepare some cute and fun gifts. The carton is not huge, but you can fill the carton with small gifts such as pacifiers, babysocks etc.

So here is a list of all the materials that I used for my Milkcarton.

  • Digistamp set Welcome little one by Danielle Engebretson
  • Paper roses cutting files
  • Artisan Labels set 1
  • Heart Whimpsy paperpack by Karen Lewis
  • Milkcarton cuttingfile
  • Copics: W1-W3-C5- RV11-RV32-B91-BG0000-G24-Y21-BV00
  • Doublesided tape
  • Hot glue gun
  • A wood clothes pin
  • Cuttingmat and cutting knife
  • Silhouette Cameo
  • Ribbon
  • Lace
  • White cardstock for printing and cutting

For the milk carton, I used plain white cardstock around 200 grams. And I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the file.

For the patterned papers, I used the cute Heart Whimpsy paperpack by Karen Lewis. I added the patterned flower paper to the white cardstock. And because the cameo does the scoring right away, you know how to fold the milk carton together.

I used a wood clothes pin to close it so that it can be opened more than once.

I then cut out the Artisan Labels set 1. The largest label is around 2 inches. I love how we can adjust the sizes of these. So handy to have them in the size that you need. I glued the stacked labels onto the wood clothes pin and decorated the label with the sentiment from the Welcome little one digital stamp set by Danielle Engebretson.

For decorating the milk carton, I used some lace and ribbons from my stash and I made some flowers with the Paper Roses cutting file.

These roses are soo beautiful and easy to make. I needed small ones for my gift so I made mine around 2 inches. I rolled them up and glued them together with my hotglue gun as nothing beats that for holding things together. You only need to watch out to not burn your fingertips.

I adore the little elephant from the digistamp set Welcome little one by Danielle Engebretson. It is so cute and I know I will be using this again and again. So perfect.

Well I hope you like my little present and thanks for stopping by.

hugs Ria
