Love Wall Hanging
Hi there! Pattie here to share a fun heart themed wall hanging that will add a little love to any room! This project is easily adapted for any theme or word you’d like to use, but since Valentine’s Day was this week, I thought this would be perfect!
Here’s what you’ll need to make one of your own…
- Young Love {Mini Kit} by Elise’s Pieces
- Mini-Bead Alpha – Pink by Kellie Mize
- Heart shaped dies
- Embellishments
- Scissors and adhesive
Print out the designer papers, letters and accents you’d like to use from your kit. I like to print the papers in 5×7 size so the patterns are just a little smaller and more appropriate for a smaller scale project.
Cut out a your various size hearts using dies, punches or freehand it if you like! I am using Spellbinders Nested Hearts dies. You will also need to cut out your letters. Mine are about 2 inches tall.
Begin assembling your wall hanging by layering up your letters on top of the hearts. Attach them by punching a hole in both the top and bottom of each layer and tie together with twine or ribbon.
You can decorate the top layer using embellishments, brads, gems, ribbon or anything you like. A doily is the perfect touch for a sweet Valentine!
