Have a cup on me
I love walking down the coffee aisles at grocery stores. Especially when you can grind your own at the store.
Supplies:
- Veni, Vidi, Venti by Sherwood Studios
- Standing Pillow Box by Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs
- Scissors
- Stickles
- Scoring tools
- Adhesive
- Stickles (optional)
- Coffee (a must)
This truly is a simple project to assemble. Using Kelleigh’s Standing Pillow Box template makes the perfect container to hold those small sample sized coffee bags. I picked a paper to use and then I printed up some extra embellishments to add to the front of my box.
The first thing I did was lined the strips with some Stickles, then set aside to dry.
I then cut out my pillow box, scored the lines and adhered it together.
Once my box was assembled I added all my elements to it and tucked my sample coffee (Chocolate Delight) inside. You could also do hot cocoa too.
I then decided to make a card using the cup element included in Vedi, Vidi, Venti. I took the cup, duplicated the layer and flipped it vertically so it when it was folded it would make a card. So that I could line up my card just right, I turned my grid on. I use the shortcut Command + ‘ (on a PC it is CTRL + ‘) to bring up my grid quickly, move my layers and I am ready to print. I also adjusted the height of the cups to be 5″ so when they are stacked they are 10″.
Once everything was printed and assembled this is what I came up with. It makes a great thank you gift.
