What’s more fun than going to a party and seeing your name on a cupcake?! One of my favorite parts about celebrating weddings is the bridal shower! So, here’s a perfect way to mark your bridal shower guest’s places at the table that’s fun, fresh and delicious!
Here’s what you’ll need for this project:
- Spring Love Designer Kit by ViVa Artistry
- Cupcake Stand Template by Domesticated Lady
- Cupcake Box Template by Kelleigh Ratzlaff
- Cutting Dies or Punches
- Embellishments and ribbon
- Lollipop stick or skewer
- Scissors and adhesive
- Ink for distressing edges
First, you’ll want to print out your papers from the scrapbook kit you choose! I love this combo of purple and green and since we’re celebrating everything wedding, my guest’s names will be on these adorable lovebirds!
Print out the templates for the cupcake stand and cupcake box template on the back of your designer papers and follow the simple directions for assembly.
After assembling the stand, cut out the shape you want to use for the top. I also added a shape to the bottom for some stability! I couldn’t decide which shape to use for the lovebirds, so I cut out both!
Score and cut out your cupcake box. I chose to use the box without the lid since the name card will stick out of the top.
My bridal shower has a shabby chic theme, so I distressed the edges of all the template pieces with ink!
Assemble your stand and cupcake box. Then, add some fun embellishments, ribbon…whatever you like! I cut a lollipop stick in half and attached it to the back of my name card with adhesive.
All that’s left is to add the cupcake! You now have the perfect place card holder with a special treat for each guest!
This project can easily be adapted for any party by using different Digi Chick Designer Kits and changing up the embellishments!
