Project shopping list from The Digichick Shop:

Damask Drama Elements & Alphas

Game Time Digital Stamp

Parlor Collage Digital Stamp

DigCuts Dress Maker

Old Letters

Fabrications Scrapbook Kit

Banners Set 1

Rosettes Set 1

Paper Roses

Project shopping list from your craft room:  scissors, glue twine, lace, glitter, baker’s twine, jingle bells, buttons, trinket pins, crystal drops, dies and punches, paint, glitter paper, bloomers … sewing machine (optional).

Gather up your supplies and let’s get started!

Print out your patterned papers of choice and then cut out the banner shapes you prefer for your project.  I cut mine using SVG files and my Cricut, but you can just as easily download the PDF version of these files and cut with scissors!

Next, cut out the rosettes and paper rose pieces you choose for your project.

Assemble the rosettes by printing and cutting two pieces for each rosette, score and fold on tic lines, glue together to make one long strip and then glue the two ends together to make a circle.  For stability, glue the circle rosette onto a cardstock punched circle.

Cut, roll, glue and ink the edges of all the paper roses you chose for project.

Print out the elements that you chose for your project, cut and add glitter where desired.

From the craft supplies you gathered, begin to sort and choose which items you will use for each banner.  I punched a scalloped circle die cut and glued to the center of the rosette and then punched a circle die cut and layered that on top of the scallop — ink all edges to create a vintage and worn look.

I glittered the edges of the alphas, damask bird and heart using silver glitter glass.

I inked the edges of all banner pieces with twill paint and then used dimensionals to pop the blue banner up from the red banner.  I machine sewed a piece of vintage lace across the top and then added two red bloomers which were glittered also!

Now is the fun part … decorating your banners.  Have fun with this … pull favorites from your stash and combine with new printed elements from The Digichick Shop to create your own, unique banner!  I inserted a tiny bloomer into the middle of the rolled paper flower and then added glitter.  A bit of black vintage lace and a sweet digi tag completes the nosegay.

On the second banner, I added a handmade trinket pin, glittered heart I die cut using some Fabrications digi paper, a pretty little red glittered bird punch, a sweet ticket and the yummy dress form digi stamp from the shop.

Each banner base is created the exact same way … I just changed the embellishments to make them all different!  On the third banner, I added a rolled paper rose with a tiny glittered bloomer in the middle, two different vintage laces, a button, baker’s twine and sweet little jingle bell.

To finish off each end of the banner, I die cut two heart shapes and inked the edges.  This one has the Game Time digi stamp in the middle that I distressed and backed with some Fabrications digi paper – die cut with a square scallop.  I sewed on some black vintage lace, added a paper flower spritzed with gold Glimmer Mist, a pearl trinket pin, baker’s twine, Webster’s Pages lace, red glitter leaves and a Damask Drama Element bird – glittered with silver glass glitter.

The second heart shape is basically the same … I just added the Parlor Collage digi stamp, a post card from the Old Letters pack and more of the same yummy embellies!

I adhered all the banner pieces and heart pieces to a length of hemp cording with loops tied at each end for hanging.

So yummy, vintage, shabby and DELICIOUS!  Now you try!  Make one and be sure to send me the link so I can see all of your beautiful creations!!  Have fun :)   Thanks so much for peeking in today!
