Christmas Memory Game
My project today is a Christmas Memory game using Quirky Twerp’s Merry Little Christmas Element Pack and a few common papercrafting supplies. You’ll see that it is easy to create a hybrid project that even your kids can enjoy!
Supplies Used:
Merry Little Christmas Element Pack , Quirky Twerp (The DigiChick)
Photoshop Elements 6
Printer
Epson Premium Presentation Paper
Square scallop paper punch (Marvy Uchida)
2 inch circle punch
Cardstock
Scor-Tape
Tin
Ribbon
Let’s get started! I opened up my new document in Photoshop and the image from the Element Pack that I wanted to use. I resized each to have the largest dimension at 1.6 inch, so that they would fit my paper punch. I lined them onto my document and onto the second page.
After printing the pages, I went to work punching them out with the circle punch and then also punching out the red cardstock with the scallop square punch. The next step is to adhere them together—I used Scor-tape, which won’t budge under little hands—Mod Podge would be good too.
Finally, a found a small round tin to house them and tied it with a ribbon.

These project could easily be replicated with different shaped paper punches, as well as different digital images. I can see it as a very cute little Valentine gift! I think my kids will have fun playing with this memory game and I did enjoy making it for them!
