Little Monster Mini Book

It is almost time for Ghosts and Goblins…and if you are like me, you have not even scrapped your Halloween pictures of last year!

I recently added Journaling Cards to my Hybrid Printables Collection. I love them because they are so versatile…not only can you use them as is and just print out and use on your Scrapbooking Layouts but they are a great base for Cards, Mini Books and Banners. I personally love playing with them and trying to think outside of the box. I recently did an altered Coaster Notepad using these journaling cards, and some candy wrappers for halloween. The possibilities are endless!

To make an accordian album is probably one of the fastest and easiest ways of creating a little mini-album. Here is the supplies you will need:

Digital:

Physical:DSC_6098

  • Epson Premium Matte Photo Paper
  • Metal Ruler
  • Trimmer/Scissors
  • Double Sided Tape
  • Bone Folder

STEP 1

mini-album001For a double sided accordian mini album you need 2 strips of photos/journaling cards spaced evenly and continous. We will not be cutting them apart.

On a 8.5×11 inch document arrange your journaling cards and photos (cropped to 2.5×3.25 inches) in 2 strips. Make sure their edges meet up since we will not be cutting them up…just using them as a whole to create the album. Align the vertical centers of each strip.

Flatten and print out.

Using your scissors/trimmer cut out the 2 strips. Do not cut the cards/photos apart…keep them as a whole.

STEP 3

Using Double sided Tape adhere the two sides together.

Step 4

Score and Fold using your bone folder and ruler.

And guess what? You are done! You can add some cute dimensional embellishments like buttons, stickers etc. but I decided to keep it simple!
