What better way to recycle old unused stationery at home than to create a gift for a loved one? For this month’s project, I used old postcards as a base for a hybrid gift planner that I gave to my mom. Make it reusable by covering the writable portions in acetate and packaging a whiteboard pen with your gift.
I decided to make a very unique little personalised gift for a friend who is having her baby daughter baptised. Come and check out what I made – I’m not sure what you would call it, but it’s the baby’s name spelled out and it can be stood upon a shelf in her bedroom.

Fall is finally upon us where I live, and with it comes the start of many of the activities that usually take a break over the summer. One of these in our household is Awana club. This year my two oldest are enrolled which means that they both have Scripture memory verses that need to be learned each week. Last year I wasn’t very good about working on the verses with my oldest during the week; instead we would do the “cram” session in the car on the way. With two in the club this year though, I knew that I would have to get more organized if we were going to have the verses memorized each week.
