Hi, it’s Julie here! I have a quick and simple project for you today! You can whip these things up in a snap! Personalize them to match the gift inside.
All you need is…
A Hybrid Template – I used The Baker’s Box by Mel Wilson at TDC,
A cute Digi Kit – I used A Funky Fa-La-La by Sarah J
Matte photo paper or cardstock
scissors, glue, bone folder, ribbons, sanding block
Photo Editing Program – I use PSE6
So, the first thing you do is open all your digi items, your template, papers and embellishments, in your photo editing program.
Open your template and clip the papers to the layers of the template. This is really very simple and all the templates will come with instructions!
Print it out!
Here is mine…

Next, cut, score, fold and glue together and distress your edges!
Like this…

Now comes the really fun part! Decorate your box! You can keep it simple…or go crazy with embellishments like I did! LOL!
I used some of the elements in the kit, cut them out and mounted them to a recycled cereal box and added them to my box! A cereal box is a great thing to use if you don’t want to run to the craft store to get chipboard!
Here is my finished box!

I told you I went a little crazy!
While you’re looking for templates at The Digi Chick, check out these ladies’ shops!
