A lot of digital scrapbookers describe themselves as “self-taught.” I am NOT one of those scrapbookers. The first time I opened up my free 30-day trial of Photoshop Elements in June 2007, I just stared at the blank screen. Uh. Yeah. No clue. So, I brought out my trusty scrapbooking magazine and found Jessica Sprague. She had written a couple of articles about digital scrapbooking, and since I loved her layouts, I tried her little tutorials. Next, I looked up her blog and found more great “Photoshop Friday” tutorials. After a couple of months, I discovered that she was starting a new class called Up and Running with Photoshop, and I was able to sign up to be in the second round of that class (Oct. 2007 baby!!). Since then, I have taken almost all of Jessica Sprague’s seriously amazing, video-based, and now self-paced, digital scrapbooking, hybrid scrapbooking, journaling, photography, photo-editing, and organization classes. Whew! She just keeps coming out with more and more classes, and I just keep signing up!!

Since The Hybrid Chick is all about teaching and learning and growing, we are excited to bring you a very generous giveaway donated by one of my favorite people in all of digiland, Jessica Sprague. Oh shoot, I’ll never win if I’m first – LOL!!! But I really NEED this! I’m a hybrid gal all the way!
Jessica’s classes look so fun! I did the “stories in hand” last year.I am going to try the free ones this weekend. I really like the way she explains how to do stuff in “regular English” and not “computer talk!” lol!
Well I haven’t done a whole lot of hybrid per se, just dabbled. I do about equal paper scrapping and digi scrapping though! I’m slowly learning how to integrate them!!

What a wonderful opportunity! I am purely Digital! I have never done paper scrapping. After seeing that gorgeous jewellery you can make I am tempted to cross over and try hybrid.

Totally digi. I love digi, I really do.
I am just starting to get into digi…. It’s fun, but there’s nothing like making a mess in your scraproom!! =)
I have made 6 digi pages so far, so I have a LOT to learn! LOL! =)
4 years completely digital … love it so much I make my own stuff now

WOW!
What a great chance.
TY for the opportunity to win!
I used to be all paper, but have gone over to the dark side and now I am mostly digital with a little hybrid mixed in.
What an awesome prize!!!!
xo
I started out as a digi gal then moved into hybrid and now I have recently taken a huge interest in traditional. So all in all I love all three but do more of digi than the other two
Sounds like great fun! I RT about it here: http://twitter.com/jilljarvis
I have started as totally digital, but I’ve started to get my hands dirty with hybrid and I love it!
Oh I forgot to say that I’m a totally mixed bag as far as creating goes (but I guess you all already knew that)! haha!
I’m totally sold on digi, I used to do paper, but I hated the mess…digi is so much better

I love Jessica’s classes and would love to be able to take another, thanks for the chance.
I am/was a paper scrapper, turned digital about a year and a half ago, but I still do both
I’m mostly digi, but have been inspired a lot lately and am doing a little hybrid! Thanks for the chance!
Well….I switched over to digi last June and never looked back. It’s so much less mess and easier to fit in to my life right now. i do love a good hybrid project for gifts, home decor, mini albums, etc though.
I have been a paper scrapper since 1995. I started digital less than a year ago. All my paper friends think I’m crazy, but I love digital.

I’m a slacking-scrapper. I used to be a paper scrapper, but there’s just too much stuff – and I always needed “one more thing” just to finish a project….so I have tons of unfinished projects. I have dreams of going completely digital, I’ve downloaded lots of stuff already – the drawback is that I don’t know how to use my Photoshop program. I really need to win this, or I’m going to have to suck it up and shell out the $ for a class!!!
Mentioned this on my Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/profile.php?id=1623867567&ref=name
Me, I’m a bit of both.
What an awesome chance!
Jessica’s classes are Fab – the two news ones are wonderful intro’s for new scrappers and digi alike. Thanks for the opportunity to win a class over there.
I’m mostly digi with a little hybrid thrown in for good measure.
Jessica has taught be everything I know in digi as well! I dabble in a llittle paper, a little hybrid (love Jess’s mini books) and a little digi. Would love to win her class!
I would love to win this!!!
I’ve never been a paper scrapper so I am TOTALLY diggin’ digi! Thanks for the chance and happy NSD!
I’d love to win this!!
I love hybrid, but haven’t done too much of it. I would love to win!
I’ve a digi girl! I’d love to take one of Jessica’s classes! I’ve heard so many good things about them!
Totally diggin’ digi!
But I love a good hybrid romp too from time to time! Thanks for the chance to win- Jessica’s classes are the best!
Would love a chance to take her hybrid class!!!!
I am mostly digi and want to do some hybrid–I have supplies but am not confident about making that first punch/cut/glue on the paper. Jessica’s class would be wonderful.
Oh how I’d love to win! I’m completely digi baby!!!
I’m just starting out. So, I’m a hybrid gal.
I would love to win this. I admire Jessica’s work SO much!
I’m a totally digi-gal that is inching her way over to hybrid!! I’ve done one class with Jessica (her free Stories In Hand one) and I’m excited to do more!
What an awesome opportunity
Paper, hybrid and digi for me
